Vacation Bible School (VBS)

It’s that time of year to seize the exciting opportunity of a week of fun and adventure at Vacation Bible School! The College Church is pleased to offer this event to our community and church families FREE of charge! All you need to do is register in advance to hold your child’s seat. See below for the link.

This is no ordinary VBS. Thunder Island is an extraordinary aquatic adventure, a mysterious ocean experience for everyone, including: 

• Dinner for attending families
• Outdoor play and activity stations
• Splash pads and water games to keep everyone cool and refreshed 
• Bible based sing-alongs and learning 
• A cozy parents’ lounge area w/refreshments and a firepit 
• Crafts, where kids show their creative side while learning more about the daily theme.
• Our very own tropical island adventure for your little marine biologists to enjoy!
• All FREE!

We are collaborating with the South Lancaster Village and Bethel Haitian SDA churches on this VBS! Our dates and location will remain the same, rain or shine. Indoor stations will be in operation in the event of inclement weather.

Kids aged 10–14 will get their own VBS this time! Details to follow.

• All volunteers must complete the Adventist Screening Verification and training by June 30 to participate.

This year’s theme is Thunder Island, “Where Jesus is Always With Me!” Join Kosmo the Parrot and friends as we explore Thunder Island, a place where God speaks to us from the thunder to tell us how much He loves us! We will learn more about Jesus through Bible stories from the Gospel of John. Five days of Christ-centered activities will help us to see that God is always with us.
